After four years of development, the cost of manufacturing titanium kitchenware has dropped by 60% compared with four years ago. The kitchenware industry is the main development area in titanium clad materials. Both of 2.8mm and 1.5mm play an important role in high-architecture field caused by excellent anti-corrosion and high-strength properties, and are mainly used for the manufacture of 4.0 honeycomb panels. Other industries are gaining popularity, such as shipbuilding, marine engineering, chemical industry, automotive industry, metal curtain wall and anode plate replacement.

The product feature of XRUN:
Our company produces titanium composite sheets with a thickness of 1.5~4.0mm and a width of 1200mm, which is unique among domestic titanium composite manufacturers. At present, only our company can produce 1.5mm wide and 1100mm. Secondly, stable supply cycle and large inventory are also the advantages of our titanium clad production.
Manufacturing process:
A metal layered composite strip in which the composite material, the base material and the intermediate material are densely combined by the cold-rolled composite technology. At present, XRUN can produce two or three layers of composite materials with titanium. First, the titanium strip, aluminum strip and steel strip are leveled on the straightening machine at the same time, and then the strip is start first time flattening, and then enters the polishing workshop to polish the bottom surface of titanium, both sides of the aluminum strip and the upper surface of the steel strip, in order to remove surface impurities and oxides , while roughening the surface to enhance bond strength. After that, it is sent to the electric heating furnace for heating. The cold-rolled composite rolling temperature is mainly heated by the deformation of aluminum material, and the temperature is controlled between 200 °C and 400 °C. The four-high reversing mill performs compound rolling at a rate of 3 m/min. There are shrink rolls at the end of the rolling mill for winding. The difference between added aluminum clad rolling is two-layer rolling, and the aluminum strip polishing operation only polishes the joint surface. After rolling, the coil is placed in a bell annealing furnace for stress relief annealing, which takes about 1 to 2 days. Slitting and surface quality inspection can be carried out after the annealing is completed, and then packaged and put into storage.
If slicing is required, the coils will be flattened and then laser cut on the laser cutting production line. The cut sheets will be edged and surface quality checked manually, and then they can be put into storage and shipped.
