Grade 1 (GR1) Titanium Plate
- Commercially pure titanium with highest purity & lowest strength among the four grades.
- Excellent ductility and formability, easy to bend, stamp, and weld.
- Best-in-class corrosion resistance to oxidizing environments (seawater, many chemicals).
Grade 2 (GR2) Titanium Plate
- Balanced strength, corrosion resistance, and formability - industry's most widely used pure titanium grade.
- Good weldability and fabrication characteristics.
- Maintains excellent performance in heat and oxidizing environments.
Grade 3 (GR3) Titanium Plate
- Higher strength than GR1 and GR2 with moderate ductility.
- Good corrosion resistance and still weldable, though formability is reduced compared to GR2.
Grade 4 (GR4) Titanium Plate
- Strongest of the four pure titanium grades with elevated yield and tensile strength.
- Excellent high-temperature strength and creep resistance among CP titanium grades.
- Still corrosion resistant and weldable, but lower room-temp formability than GR1–GR3.
