Product Introduction
Grade 23 titanium bar can be used in ultra-low temperature environment.XRUN offers a wide range of bar sizes across different grades. Grade 23 includes 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium with extra low interstitial elements . On the basis of GR5, GR23 reduces the content of gap elements C, O, N and impurity elements Fe, and the strength is reduced, but the capacity and toughness of GR23 titanium alloy can be significantly improved. GR23 has good plasticity, toughness, good welding performance and low temperature performance, widely used in cryogenic engineering, medical, ships and aircraft and other important fields.

Production processing
Pressing the electrode after titanium sponge and intermediate alloy are mixed. Then, using vacuum plasma welding box to weld the electrode to guarantee there is no inclusion and external pollution risk. The next step is carrying out three times VAR melting to get high clean and uniform ingot. The 5000T High-speed forging equipment is used for several times forging process with large deformation to effectively break the grain. Lastly, Grade 23 titanium bar is finished by rolling or extrusion.
Quality guarantee
All Grade 23 titanium bars are 100% inspected with advanced producting technique to get the high quality and low price.The tolerance will be tested according to standard's required or specific requirement by customer. AMS 2631 & AMS STD-2154 are be used for ultrasonic test.
Medical implants application
GR23 titanium alloy is used to manufacture artificial joint, bone plate and screw for bone and joint injury caused by trauma and tumor in human body, which has been widely used in clinic. It is also used for hip joint (including femoral head), knee joint, elbow joint, mandible, artificial vertebral body, cardiac pacemaker shell, artificial heart (heart-shaped valve), artificial dental implant, titanium nickel tooth orthodontic device and titanium mesh in cranium plastic, etc.
