Grade 1 (GR1) Titanium Sheet
- Highest purity commercially pure titanium-lowest interstitial content and softest grade.
- Excellent corrosion resistance, especially in aggressive environments with chlorides and oxidisers.
- Highest ductility and formability of the four pure grades, making it easier to shape and fabricate.
- Lower strength compared with higher grades but still good structural capability for many industrial systems.
Grade 2 (GR2) Titanium Sheet
- Most widely used general-purpose CP titanium with a strong balance of strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance.
- Better mechanical strength than GR1 while maintaining good formability and weldability.
Grade 3 (GR3) Titanium Sheet
- Higher strength than Grades 1&2 while maintaining good corrosion resistance.
- Intermediate mechanical properties-a compromise between formability and strength.
- Suitable where higher load capacity is necessary without moving to alloyed titanium.
Grade 4 (GR4) Titanium Sheet
- Highest strength among commercially pure titanium grades-highest tensile and yield properties of the four.
- Slightly lower ductility than GR1–GR3 but still offers excellent corrosion resistance typical of pure titanium.
