Product Introduction
Ti662 titanium forging is very suitable for offshore oil exploration field with higher requirements on strength, plasticity and impact toughness, and has a broader market application prospect in this field. XRUN offers a wide range of titanium forging sizes across different grades.Ti-662 titanium alloy is nominally composed of Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn-0.5Fe-0.5Cu, which is a high strength α+β titanium alloy developed on the basis of Ti-6Al-4V alloy .Compared with Ti-6Al-4V,It has more β phase stabilizing elements, which resulting in higher hardenability and strength.Its quenched cross section can reach 40mm. Ti662 titanium alloy has excellent corrosion resistance and good comprehensive performance in sulfide, ammonia, chlorine and other media in seawater and crude oil. Working in humid environment and seawater media, its corrosion resistance is much higher than that of 1Cr18Ni9Ti. In addition, pitting corrosion, acid corrosion, stress corrosion resistance of Ti662 titanium alloy is particularly strong. Compared with TI-6AL-4V alloy, Ti662 alloy has better comprehensive properties.

The manufacturing process is:
first step is mixing the titanium sponge and intermediate alloy, including aluminum vanadium alloy, titanium-tin alloy, aluminum bean, iron nail and copper. The electrode is welded by using the vacuum plasma welding box. The Ti-662 ingot was produced by three times VAR melting. After that the 5000T High-speed forging equipment is used for several times forging process to obtain the Ti 662 titanium forging.At present, the main strengthening methods of it are heat treatment strengthening. The main heat treatment methods of this alloy include quenching and aging, ordinary annealing, double annealing, isothermal annealing and deformation heat treatment. The research results show that when the aging temperature is 600 ℃ and the solution temperature is 880 ~ 920℃, with the solution temperature increasing, the hardness, tensile strength and yield strength increase, and the elongation and section shrinkage decrease. When the solution temperature is 880 ℃, the aging temperature is 880 ~ 920℃, with the aging temperature increasing, the tensile strength and yield strength decrease, and the elongation and section shrinkage increase. When the heat treatment process is 880 ℃ × 1 h, WQ + 600 ℃ × 4 h, AC, The hardness, strength and plasticity of the material reach the best match.
Because of its excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance (can be used below 400 ℃ for a long time), good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and welding performance, Ti 662 titanium forging is widely used in aircraft fuselage, rocket hair Engines, nuclear reactor components and oil well pipes for oil exploration. Ultrasonic test is in accordance with AMS 2631 & AMS STD-2154.
